.Holds a Master’s degree in History
.Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1993
.Served at the Headquarters as Section Officer(1997-98) , Deputy Director (2000-2002), Director (2009-2011) and Director General (2017-19).
.Held diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Kuala Lumpur (2014-2017), Doha (2012-2014), Warsaw (2006-2009), Frankfurt (2002-2005) and Kathmandu (1998-2000).
.Appointed as Ambassador of Pakistan to the Republic of Poland with concurrent accreditation to Republic of Estonia and Republic of Latvia, (27 April 2020 – to- date).
.He is married.
