The Ambassador

Mr. Muhemmed Aejaz

Born on 12 July 1966 in Peshawar, Pakistan and holds an MBBS degree.
Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1992.
Served at Headquarters as Section Officer (1994-1997 & 200-2002), Director (2009-2011), Director General (2016-2018).
From 2018-2019, served as Additional Secretary (Afghanistan & West Asia). Worked closely with regional and
international partners including US, China and Russia to take the ongoing Afghan peace initiative forward.
Held various diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad; Kabul (1997-2000), Stockholm (2002-2005), Colombo (2006-2008), Paris (2011-2014) and Cairo (2014-2015)
Presently, serving as Ambassador of Pakistan to Hungary (December 2019) with concurrent accreditation to Montenegro.
Married; has two sons and a daughter.
