The Ambassador

Dr. Sajjad Ahmed Seehar

Mr. Sajjad Ahmed Seehar is a career diplomat. Before joining as Ambassador of the
Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan he served as Directing Staff
at National Defence University, Islamabad. He has also served as Joint Secretary
National Security Division at the office of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
          Mr. Sajjad Ahmed Seehar holds a Master’s degree in Economics. He has also
acquired bachelor degree in Medicine and Law.
          During his diplomatic career he had been posted in several Pakistan Missions
abroad including; Seoul (South Korea), Dushanbe (Tajikistan), Kuwait, Amman (Jordan)
and Harare (Zimbabwe). At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he has served on
desks/departments of UN, Mission Building & Services, Policy Planning, Consular,
Protocol and Arab Affairs.
