SAEED MUHAMMAD KHAN, HI(M), S Bt

Air Marshal (R) Saeed Muhammad Khan joined Pakistan Air Force in 1972 and was commissioned as a fighter pilot in November, 1981.
He has vast operational experience spanning over 35 years in Pakistan Air Force. His illustrious career in this elite organization has enabled him to serve at various prestigious command & staff appointments. His dynamic personality, excellent leadership & managerial skills have helped him to acquit his responsibilities in a befitting manner.
He has flown all types of Chinese & American fighter aircraft on PAF’s inventory and was declared fit to be a Fighter Instructor and a Command Pilot on F-6, F-7 & F-16 aircraft.
He has attended numerous professional and Staff Courses. He has received a Master’s Degree in War Studies from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, a Master’s Degree in International Affairs & Military Cooperation from SESKAOU, Indonesia and a MS in Strategic Management & Decision Making from NATO Defense College in Rome, Italy.
He was appointed Naval & Air Attaché of Pakistan at Republic of South Africa for 03 years. He was given another very prestigious appointment of Air Officer Commanding, Central Air Command, at Lahore. He held the prestigious positions of Deputy Chief of the Air Staff and Vice Chief of the Air Staff Pakistan Air Force.
He has displayed outstanding leadership skills by leading from the front. He remained the financial manager of PAF and was responsible for planning, acquisition and disbursement of PAF budget, with an oversight on the spending by various departments.
He is a recipient of Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Sitara-e-Basalat from the Government of Pakistan for his outstanding services.
He retired from Pakistan Air Force in 2017 as an Air Marshal (equivalent Lt. Gen).
After retiring from PAF, he remained as Executive Chairman of Indus Power Limited and also remained a Director on the Hawa Energy Board.
He is married and blessed with 2 sons and a daughter.
