Part of Pakistan’s Official Delegation at 5th Developing-8 Summit in Bali Indonesia in May 2005, which was attended by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Part of Pakistan’s Ministerial Delegation to negotiate Non-Agricultural Market Access Agreement under WTO in November 2005.
Attended WTO Ministerial Conference held at Islamabad in December 2005.
Part of Pakistan’s Official Delegation at World Economic Forum Meeting, held at Davos, Switzerland in January 2006, which was attended by the then President of Pakistan.

Conferment of Civil Awards:
Ambassador Wagan was nominated for ‘Sitara-e-Imtiaz of Pakistan’ (Star of Distinction), being second highest National Award, for his meritorious service to the Nation in 2017.
Ambassador Wagan, in recognition with his outstanding role played for promotion of bilateral relations in various fields between Pakistan and Niger, was awarded the highest Civil Award i.e. ‘Order of Merit’ on December 10, 2019 by the Government of Niger.

H.E. Mr. Wagan has deep interest in trekking and mountaineering. He has successfully climbed/trekked:

o Trekked to K-2 (second highest mountain in World), Base camp in 1998 having an altitude of 17,700 fee (5,400 meters)
Trekked to Everest (highest mountain in World), Base camp in April 2004 having an altitude of 18,500 feet (5,643 meters)
Trekked to Mount Blanc (11th highest mountain in World) in July 2005 having an altitude of 15,700 feet (4,808 meters)
Trekked to Mount Whitney (tallest mountain in Continental US) having an altitude of 14,500 feet (4,421 meters)
Trekked to Mount Kilimanjaro (tallest mountain in Africa) having an altitude of 19,500 feet (5,895 meters)

He is married with four children.
