MR. IRFAN AHMED

Born in 1971 in the city of Peshawar (Pakistan).

Education:

Master’s Degree in English Literature and Language from the University of Peshawar (Pakistan)
Master’s Degree in International Politics from London School of Economics (LSE), London.
1996:   Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan.
2001-2004:  Vice Consul in the Consulate General of Pakistan New York.
2004-2005:  Director (India) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.
2007-2011:  First Secretary and Counsellor in High Commission for Pakistan New Delhi (India).
2011-2014:  Counsellor in Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
2015:  Director (President’s Program) at President Secretariat Islamabad.
2016-2019:  Minister/Deputy Head of Mission at Embassy of Pakistan Stockholm (Sweden).
