The Ambassador

Mr. Muhammad Saleem

Joined the Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1995. During his long career of over 25
years, Mr. Muhammad Saleem has served at various positions in the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs, Islamabad, and Pakistan’s Diplomatic Missions abroad including in the Federal
Republic of Germany, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Romania and Canada.
While in Islamabad Mr. Saleem has worked in the Administration, Consular, Protocol,
South Asia and India Divisions.
Before assuming his responsibilities in the High Commission for Pakistan in Dar es
Salaam, Mr. Saleem was serving in the High Commission for Pakistan in Ottawa, Canada,
as Deputy High Commissioner.
Mr. Saleem has a masters degree in Diplomacy and Strategy from the National University
of Malaysia Kebangsan. Mr. Saleem speaks English, Urdu, German and Shina.
He is married and is blessed with five children.
