The Ambassador

H.E. JAUHAR SALEEM

Born in 1963. Holds Masters Degrees in English (Lit.) Masters in Government Administration (University of Pennsylvania), USA; Masters in International Economics and Public Policy (John Hopkins University) USA, Fellowship at George Town University, USA.
Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1985.
Served at Headquarters as Section Officer (1986-1987 &1993-1999), as Deputy Chief of Protocol (1994-1997) and Director (1997-1999 & 2003-2005), Director General (2006-2008 and 2014) and Additional Secretary / Director General, Foreign Service Academy, Islamabad (2014-2015).
Held diplomatic assignments in Pakistan Missions abroad: Brasilia (1989-1993) and Ankara (1999-2002).
Served as Ambassador to Bosnia & Herzegovina (2008-2011), Ambassador to Bahrain (2011-2014) and Ambassador to Germany (2015-2020).
He is married.
