Fake Telephone calls

All members of the Pakistani Community in the Netherlands are informed that some criminals are making telephone calls to overseas Pakistanis, posing as Embassy officials, with an intention to harass and blackmail them. In some cases, they are using computer hacking to make it seem as if the call is coming from the Embassy’s telephone number.

While the Embassy is trying to resolve the issue with the help of the tele communication company and the Diplomatic Police the members of Pakistani community are informed that these calls are originating from criminal elements and not from any official of the Pakistan Embassy.
