*Job Responsibilities (Gardener cum Cleaner)

1. Maintain and upkeep the gardens, lawns, hedges, and green spaces of the Embassy and Ambassador’s residence.

2. Perform regular gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and mulching.

3. Ensure proper care of flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants to maintain a neat and attractive landscape.

4. Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) safely.

5. Monitor plant health, identify pests/diseases, and apply appropriate treatments.

6. Maintenance of indoor plants and preparation of flowers bouquet

7. Assist in seasonal landscaping tasks, including winter preparations and spring planting.

8. Maintain cleanliness in outdoor areas by removing leaves, debris, and waste.

9. Clean and maintain outdoor areas, including pathways, driveways, patios, and entrances.

10. Sweep, mop, and disinfect indoor common areas, offices, and designated spaces as required.

11. Empty trash bins, dispose of waste properly, and ensure recycling procedures are followed.

12. Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces in assigned areas.

13. Assist with basic maintenance tasks (e.g., reporting repairs, light bulb changes).

14. Ensure restrooms and kitchen areas (if applicable) are kept clean and hygienic.

15. Follow health and safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

16. Report any maintenance or security concerns to the supervisor.

17. Assist with event setup and cleanup when required.

18. Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.

Basic Eligibility Criteria:

Physically: The candidate should be physically fit for manual work in all weather conditions.

Age: Until 45 Years (Candidates with exceptional skills may be considered for relaxation)

Local Scale: 01

Salary: 1.972,47

Social Security: To be paid directly to Belastingdienst by Employer based on calculation

Contract: Temporary

Probation: Six month

Educational requirement: Any relevant certification from a recognized institute would be preferred (VMBO/Gardening diploma or any equal degree)

Language skills: Dutch/English
