Do's and Don't

As a general advisory to all Pakistanis, living in Spain and coming to Spain from Pakistan, following is a list of “do’s & dont’s” while in Spain:

Do’s

  • Learning some Spanish especially ‘greetings’ words

  • Check validity of passport & visa before departing to Spain (3-month validity is MUST).

  • Maximum caution when in touristic places and at the airports.

  • Learn Spanish culture and regional differences

  • Dress accordingly

  • Insure medically

  • Caution while using social media

Dont’s

  • Discuss regionalism or religion with locals as these can be sensitive

  • Express dislike for Spanish football clubs

  • Wear swimsuit on streets

  • Expect punctuality or early dinner

  • Talk on phone while driving

  • Staring/inappropriate touching is considered as harassment

  • Violence against women/children, including family members is a criminal offence.
