Overseas Pakistanis Foundation
Barrister Amjad Malik, Chairman Board of Governors (BoGs), Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) visited Embassy of Pakistan The Hague on 28 January 2017. On arrival at the Chancery, he inspected the Consular Section and received briefing from the Head of Chancery, MRP Officer and Consular Assistant regarding the provision of Consular Services to overseas Pakistanis. Later he visited Pakistan House where he had a meeting with Ambassador Iffat Imran Gardezi. The Ambassador briefed the Chairman regarding the issues faced by the Pakistani Community in the Netherlands. The Chairman appreciated the efforts by the Ambassador and her team at the Embassy and said that such proactive diplomacy is the way forward to raise image of Pakistan, reform our services and enhance our trade and investment.
During his interaction with Pakistani Community in the Netherlands, the Chairman said that Pakistan has a flourishing future due to CPEC, Gawadar and National Action Plan is reaping outstanding achievements. He briefed the participants regarding various initiatives taken by the OPF for the Welfare of overseas Pakistanis. The Pakistani Community members raised the issues faced by them due to the discontinuation of PIA flights and NADRA cards.
